Assistant Manager "Chinese Overtime" Case


In this action, we are suing the grocery store chain Save-A-Lot for violating the law by paying overtime in an illegal manner. Instead of paying time and a half for every hour assistant managers work over forty per week, Save a Lot pays only half time for those hours. What this means is that the more overtime assistant managers work the less they make per hour!
We are challenging this method of paying overtime under the law.
