Maggie Flanagan worked at a staffing agency before attending law school, and from that experience she developed an understanding of the challenges that face employees in the workplace. She worked for the Iran Human Rights Documentation Center during law school, where she worked to improve conditions for victims of oppression in Iran. During law school she also studied international human rights at Trinity College Dublin. Maggie grew up in Connecticut.
