No! There is a Connecticut statute mandating that employers provide employees with a safe workplace- “It shall be the duty of the master to exercise reasonable care to provide for his servant (employee) a reasonably safe place in which to work, reasonably safe appliances and instrumentalities for his work and fit and competent persons as his co-laborers…” This statute has been applied to an employee who objected to being sent to a war zone for his job and employees who were fired after they fired an employee who attempted to run over a pregnant coworker, among other situations.
