I’m a limo driver- can my boss deny me overtime pay when I work more than 40 hours in a week?

Probably not! Many limo drivers are improperly paid. If you work “per trip” and are dispatched by your company to pick up and drop off customers at specific locations, most likely you are not exempt from overtime and should be getting time and a half for these hours. However, if you are a cab driver who is generally available for hire on city streets, then you are probably not entitled to overtime. Many employers do not make this distinction and underpay limo drivers.
