Massachusetts law punishes employers who retaliate against workers who bring wage claims against their employers. Massachusetts General Laws 149 section 148A. Massachusetts law prohibits employers from terminating, demoting, or penalizing employees “in any way” because the employee sought to protect his or her rights under the Wage Act.
