Attorney Mays attended the University of Connecticut School of Law, earning his J.D. in 2026 after serving as an active member of the campus community. Attorney Mays served as a member of several on-campus organizations, including Moot Court and Mock Trial, as well as President of the Softball Club. His experiences in interscholastic competition, as well as serving real clients through the school’s legal clinic, have equipped him with the skills necessary to vigorously advocate for employee rights.

Prior to law school, Attorney Mays graduated summa cum laude from Eastern Connecticut State University. He served as a leader in multiple student organizations while working multiple jobs. He was also a member of the baseball team, a sport he continues to coach and play competitively to this day.

Attorney Mays joins a stellar group of attorneys at HMD, working out of the firm’s Hartford office. He is excited to bring his passion for protecting employees to clients in Connecticut and beyond.
