Can they fire James Franco’s professor for giving him a D?
Even we couldn’t make this one up. Here is the link to the NY Post article:
First of all, NYU is a private university and so it probably has its own contracts with its professors. If there is a tenure track and the professor is tenured, then this is probably a violation of those terms. My guess is that NYU will have a different version of the events and deny that it was because Mr. Franco got a ‘D.’
