Can I protest Trump (or any President) at work?
In Connecticut, yes you can. We have a law that prohibits employers from firing employees who exercise their rights under the First Amendment. It’s ok to put an anti-Trump sign on your desk. Just don’t do anything to disrupt the work place.
In Massachusetts, there is no similar law that applies the First Amendment to private employers. Public employers, however, are not allowed to fire employees for expressing themselves under the First Amendment.
